One way to do this is to practise EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques. It’s a technique that soothes the amygdala - the part of the brain that’s responsible for fight, flight, or freeze. It makes it much easier to be calm and clear-minded, so that we can speak up and say what we want and need. Watch this video to learn basic EFT.
