Why am I having panic attacks?
Anxiety usually arises when we have either a big trauma in life, or a number of smaller stresses that build up over time. It can show itself quickly or lurk in the background for a long time and then pop up when we’re going through a vulnerable patch.
When stress gets locked in, it shows up in all those horrible symptoms such as:
Wanting to run away, freezing on the spot, your mind going blank, sometimes even getting really angry, prolific sweating, ‘lump in your throat’, palpitations, twitching, dry mouth, chest pain, being unable to breathe, shaking uncontrollably or muscles seizing up……………….and more.
How can you help me overcome anxiety?
The mind and body work together in a constant state of interacting. We call this the body-mind. This is why we experience anxiety in physical symptoms as well as anxious thoughts in our mind.
Thus in order to properly, and rapidly, overcome anxiety, we need to find a way to release stress from the body as well as dealing with anxious thoughts.
