Why is it that we can so often see the changes we need to make to improve our relationships, our work and our confidence - yet we find it so hard to do so?
Or maybe we do manage to make those changes, for a while, but then we slip back into the same old unhelpful habits and patterns.
As a therapist helping hundreds of clients, I’ve seen that these patterns stem from deep-rooted limiting beliefs, held in the subconscious. In fact, there are four main limiting beliefs that so many of us carry.
These limiting beliefs, often learnt in childhood, run in the background of our awareness. They're like information on a hard drive - and much as we try to change how we think and what we do - they keep running the same old programs!
Out Of Fear Into Love is based on more than 25 years helping clients gain confidence, have happier relationships and more successful lives

I would certainly recommend this book to others, if you are looking for a self-help book that is easy to read. I liked the authors style, and could relate to the stories and examples she gave. What resonated with me the most was reading about the four most common limiting beliefs in chapter two. Great book!

Marléne has created an outstanding piece of work here with Out Of Fear, Into Love. From the beginning I was drawn in without feeling overwhelmed by too much information or complicated language. If you, like me, have found life hard, and struggle to make the day go right, dreading what the future has planned for you, stop right now and get this wonderful book.
What I so loved about Out Of Fear, Into Love is that Marléne explains things in a way that makes you think: ‘Oh yes, that happened to me, I can relate to that.’ For me, it was the story of the child putting his hand up at school to answer a question and when the teacher asked him, he got it wrong, and all the other children laughed. A simple event like that can have a huge impact on a child who afterward grows up with a fear of speaking up, and a self-limiting belief about being heard in the world.
I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did, and I wish you well on your journey of life and self-discovery Big thanks and much love to Marléne for creating such a fabulous book.

A wonderful book which takes you through an introspection of which limiting beliefs are causing you to be stuck in life, a journey back to your childhood, where you can seek reconciliation with the causes of some of those beliefs, and then, a creative path forward, where with self-awareness and self-compassion, you move into a more free state of being. This book, written in a very informal, easily understood way, will leave you feeling much more in touch with who you are, and above all, will help you to be much more gentle, and loving towards yourself.

Who is This Book For?
Out Of Fear Into Love is for anyone who wants to :
We cannot truly love ourselves when fear is blocking the way.
Sometimes people say "well just learn to love yourself and all will be well". And while it’s true that self-love is the magical ingredient of a happy life, we cannot truly love ourselves when fear is blocking the way.
First, we need to rid ourselves of these fear-based beliefs. Most importantly we need to understand why these self-sabotaging beliefs have taken such a firm grip on us; and we need to utilise proven psychological methods to clear them.
In Out Of Fear Into Love: Life doesn’t have to be a struggle, I teach proven psychological methods; such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), along with the process I’ve developed from helping hundreds of my therapy clients let go of these self-sabotaging beliefs. In the book, I also show how to replace these with new, self-loving, ways of thinking and behaving.
And that’s when life becomes oh so much better!
Yet, it doesn't have to be this way.
It is perfectly possible to let go of your limiting beliefs and start living from a place of confidence and happiness
Peek Inside the Book ...
The Universal Elements of Happiness
Most children see life from this perspective of ‘Wow!’ They delight in everything and they seem to know that they’re part of something much greater than themselves—a powerful force which is always supporting them. And life is good
How We Learnt to Struggle
When you were a child you tottered and toddled around the frontiers of your world and you looked up and took great note of those bigger people and what they had to teach you.
A Very Important Friendship
No matter that those solutions such as ‘people pleasing’ or ‘being strong’ don’t work now. At the time they were the best way to deal with problems.
Into Love: The Power in Self-Kindness
It’s the strength that comes from the power of love—if that power can sustain the en-tire universe then it’s much more potent and dependable than any strength we try to summon up through enduring hardships.
Why is My Life Such a Struggle?
Because we keep filtering the world through the same lens, we keep being drawn to the same, familiar, types of people and situa- tions. Sometimes that’s a good thing. Sometimes it’s not such a good thing.
Why it’s So Hard to Change
Have you ever noticed that when you have some sort of conflict with someone you feel powerless and small? One minute you’re the compe- tent grown-up, the next you feel tongue-tied and unsure of yourself?
Clearing Away the Fear Clutter
As a therapist, I see EFT as a technique that’s been waiting for us all to catch up with it—it’s part of the magic of quantum understanding—the evolution- ary journey of mankind.
Into Love: The Power in Self-Acceptance
When we try to resist those aspects of ourselves we don’t like, we actually give them more power, and so they continue to exist in our lives.
